When the great knight Chang Chen and his mistress (the mother of his twin son and daughter) are murdered, his jilted lover, a lady-warrior, plots a cruel revenge. At the suggestion of her sister, she decides to raise the boy Hua Chun-yu (Kao Yuen) and she maneuvers to have the daughter Hsiao Lu-erh (Lily Ho) raised by her enemy. This way they will grow up as trained fighters and deadly enemies, destined to kill each other.
