The Shadow Whip 1970

Fang Cheng-tien, an expert whip wielder, is suspected to be responsible for a robbery and several murders of which he is innocent. For 15 years, knights both good and evil seek his whereabouts. Among these are villain Hung Ta-peng and young knight Wang Chien-hsin. The latter is the nephew of Yang Tien-hsiung, a victim of the crime Fang supposedly committed. Both he and Hung trail a whip-wielding girl, Yang Han-yun, to Fang’s hideout, but Fang steals away to avoid a confrontation. Yang finds herself surrounded by 16 bandits at an inn, all of whom urge her to reveal where Fang has hidden the stolen loot. Fang arrives in the nick of time to rescue the young girl. The ruthless Hung is determined to kill Yang, believing she’s Fang’s daughter. (In truth, she’s the daughter of the slain Yang Tien-hsiung, and thus a cousin of Knight Wang). Wang, convinced by now of Fang’s innocence, suspects Hung as the true culprit. Together with Yang and Fang, he tracks Hung down. In the battle which follows, the villain is finally killed, and Fang’s name cleared.
