While attempting to reform villain Black Demon, swordswoman Chung Kuei is wounded. Now bent on vanquishing the villain, she seeks temporary refuge disguised as a cook in the Wan An protection order.
Young swordswoman Chin Tsui-ping admires Chung and convinces her to take her on as a pupil. Meanwhile Tsui has fallen in love with Wu Chang-chun, Wan An knight.
The three join forces to battle Black Demon gangsters. On one occasion, Black Demon’s men wound Wu, who is rescued by Chung Kuei. Young Chin is jealous of their friendship, and goes off in a huff to tackle Black Demon all by herself.
Chin, who is no match for Black Demon, is saved in the nick of time by Chung and Wu. Chung Kuei finally kills Black Demon and then goes off, leaving Wu and Chin together.
